Gothic Lolita Austria Brunch ~!

On Sunday, the Gothic Lolita Austria Brunch took place at Hotel Stefanie Vienna!(ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧
It felt like a very exclusive event. We were about 20 people. The brunch took place from 11.30 to 15.00 o'clock. After that we also went to a park, took photos there and chatted. (◡‿◡✿)

Photo credit for this goes to Punkangel!

My outfit:

Blouse - Vintage // Dress - Baby the Stars Shine Bright
Socks - Topshop // Shoes - Secret Shop

I found it very hard to coordinate this dress as it is a bit out of the usual colour scheme
of my wardrobe but I did my best! (´・ω・`) I wish I had a pair of cute mint green tights
to match the print. I sadly didn't have time to do something more interesting with my hair
because our train went quite early (bc it was cheaper hehe xD)

Shortly, the Austrian Lolita Community has an official association! (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧
They still take members and membership is also open for Lolitas outside Austria.
If interested, click here! Since it was the first meet up since membership was open
we got our membership buttons and these business cards, designed by me *hehe*

I like the simplicity. GLAM stands for Gothic Lolita Austria Member ◕ ◡ ◕

It was great to see everybody again!

Helsinki Travel Diary - Part 4 - Hellocon Outfit

Some time ago the official Hellocon pictures were released. Yaaay (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧*:・゚✧
Credit goes to the official photographers!

To be honest, I'm not too satisfied with this picture...the part of my face that isn't covered in shadows looks kinda awkward. Sadly there was only one picture per person released (with some exceptions) so no other picture with a better face :/
I like my pose though and how my petticoat looks really poofy ∩(︶▽︶)∩

Anyway...

...I think our group picture turned out really cute!
definitely need a print version for my scrapbook  (*◕‿◕*)

Plus, I also like this random shot picturing me and Katrin at the the flea market booth.
I think you can see me admiring the skirt I bought later ^^

What do you think?
For me, it was nice to look back on our Helsinki adventures once more!

Helsinki Travel Diary - Part 3 - Hellocon Tea Party

In the afternoon of our second day in Helsinki Hellocon Tea Party took place. Compared to Innocent World Tea Party Vienna, the only Tea Party I have been to before, it was more exclusive as the number of guests was more limited.

There was an opening ceremony, after which the special guests designer Yuko Ashizawa and model Midori Fukasawa entered. A ballet performance and the opening of the buffet followed.

The buffet contained six treats for everyone and a variety of tea and juice as well as biscuits and gummy treats. Yumm :3

They also had a raffle ( I sadly didn't win anything ^^) and in the end the special guests picked their favourite outfits among the visitors. I found both chosen outfits great and the choice very justified :)

The best part for most of the Tea Party visitors however was the signing and photo taking with the special guests!

I like my face in both pictures. What a surprise :o

I actually felt a little startled when Midori took my hand *O*
We also had a short smalltalk about my crown. Midori is just so cute

Between the program points there was also some time for taking pictures and chatting with each other.

The location was beautiful and they had this awesome sofas :D
In retrospect, I maybe would do a different hairstyle and I'm also not sure if I would coord the dress with dark brown again but I'm content ^-^

I also seized the chance to take lots of Polaroid pictures!

So all in all it was a good organized event and everyone looked beautiful! I would have wished that it was an hour longer but I also talked a bit with the organizers and I understand that that wasn't possible.

Besides the very last post, which will follow as soon as the pictures are available, the Helsinki travel diary is over. Summed up it was a great and for me somehow very inspirational weekend. It made me want to put more kawaii in my daily life and wear my favorite fashion more often again.
That's why I love traveling, I feel like every journey, no matter how short or long, changes me for the better and gives me new inspiration

Helsinki Travel Diary - Part 2 - Hellocon

So I'm still waiting for the official pictures; apparently the photographers have a lot of retouching work to do ^^; so I thought I show you a bit what happened at Hellocon and show my outfit and stuff in an extra post :)

Hellocon happened on our first day in Helsinki. It started at 10 o'clock in the morning and went until the closing ceremony at half past 5 in the evening. It was my first Lolita Convention and I enjoyed it very much! The dress code wasn't strictly Lolita though so there were also just admirer of Lolita fashion and people in other kawaii clothes.

This was the program outline:

10:00 Doors open

10:30 - 10:45 Opening Ceremony
12:00 - 12:30 Brand vs. Off-brand
13:00 - 13:45 Designers fashion show
14:00 - 14:45 Yuko Ashizawa Q&A
15:00 - 15:30 Fairyforest -fashion show
16:00 - 16:45 Designer Panel Discussion
17:00 - 17:20 Dancing Dolls
17:30 Closing Ceremony

18:00 Doors close

The also offered workshops but I didn't visit any.
I missed the opening ceremony because I was shopping at the flea market but I watched pretty much all of the other program points.

In the brand vs off-brand fashion show they had five categories for which always two girls put together an outfit. One outfit completely in brand and one completely in off-brand. The audience could cheer for their favourite ^-^

My personal highlight was the pirate outfit in the very left corner of my picture. It was the first time that I saw a Lolita with dreadlocks and I never imagined it to work so well :O

Next up was the Designers fashion show in which all the indie designers and the star guests Atelier Pierrot showed their designs.

Dani (aka Duplica ^__~ ) modeled for Lady Sloth!

And the second star guest Midori was on the stage too :3

It was a bit hard catching pictures of the models as they moved so fast but there is a video of the show on youtube! To be honest I let it play in the background sometimes because I like the soundtracks so much ^^''

I don't have pictures of the Q&A as I was listening to it while doing some shopping. At first they asked Yuko some prepared questions and then the audience had a chance to pose there own questions. There also was a Q&A with Midori if I remember right that somehow doesn't show up in the program outline ^^

Anyway, of all the program points the Fairy Forest Fashion Show impressed me most.
It wasn't just a normal fashion show but had a story to it.

^I liked this outfit especially

The beautiful swan impressed the audience with her ballet skills

I highly recommend to watch the video!

Of course I also bought some stuff at Hellocon:

Angelic Pretty skirt and Swimmer bag from the flea market

I also bought a lot of jewelry from Moon Bunny

I don't know why the bunny looks so green it's actually a nice yellow xD

The bracelet is from Moon Bunny but the pin is designed by Midori, it says 'Midori's Tea Party'! :)

All in all it was a really nice event and the Finish Lolitas are also very nice and cute. I hope I can go to Hellocon again some day :)

So I hope you enjoyed this picture heavy report and stay tuned for the next post!

Off to Helsinki ~♥

Tomorrow I'm finally off to Helsinki, for Helsinki Lolita Convention, a Tea Party and sightseeing. I'm already filled with anticipation :D
Here are pictures of my planned outfits. I changed my ideas a bit:

Instead of Innocent World I decided to wear Angelic Pretty to the Convention. I have never worn this dress to a big event, so it deserves some attention. I most likely won't wear the beret though as I want to style my hair in a braid crown.
The Tea Party coord is now in darker colours than planned at the beginning. Atelier Pierrot is one of the special guests and this coord is nearest I could come to their style with my super sweet wardrobe. One week before it was also announced that the theme for the Tea Party is 'Princes and Princesses' so I'm wearing a crown instead of the previously planned bonnet.
I decided to not wear wigs this time. The last few times I wore one it made my outfit worse than better because they keep slipping from my forehead. This time I want to enjoy the events without constantly pulling my wig forth. I believe that will be more comfortable for me ;)

See you next time when I report about my Helsinki adventures :D

Impressions of the 'Kunst und Designmarkt' Linz

Today I visited the Art and Design-Market which took place in my area. It was the first time I visited such a fair and I enjoyed it very much

Maqaroon had a booth there. I already knew them from Aninite 2012. I wanted to buy a protection bag for my mobile phone but my phone was to big for them T.T *buhuu*
So I ended up with a cute little lucky pack.

This is what I got - the ice cram sticky notes are so adorable *o*

Another cute booth. The soaps they sold smelled so good *__*

This booth was by sardaana-henke. They sold this super cute handmade fabric goods. The young lady I talked too (I'm not 100% sure but I think she was the shop owner) was so cute.
They use a lot of fabric from Japan. They have a physical store in Salzburg. Next time I go there I will definitely take a visit to their store! *__*

Look at this heart melting fabric!  It's from Japan but it had German text on it. I got told that Japanese like to use English, French and German text on their products ^__~

I also bought these three pendants at a booth called steinbienchen. I just notice I didn't take pictures of their booth. They use dried flowers for their jewelry - I love it!
They also had this gorgeous pendant with a hot air balloon on but I couldn't afford it T.T

Not at the fleemarket but in front of the building I also saw this:

Furniture and stuff all covered in moss and plants - melting my Mori Girl heart

Summed up, I really enjoyed this event. I love talking with the designers and ask them about how they make the things and stuff ~ There actually was so much more amazing stuff which I haven't taken pictures of!
If you live around Linz you maybe want to visit the market. It's still open tomorrow (17.11.13)!
